Reflexive Pronouns
Reflexive Pronouns refer to the person or animal that is the subject of the verb.
For example:
She made a cake by herself
I made this dress myself
Ananda and Krishna, find yourselves a seat!

Rule # 1
The subject and the object must refer to the same person or thing.
Incorrect : I drive the car by herself
Correct : I drive the car by myself
Rule # 2
When the preposition is part of an adverbial phrase, we use a personal pronoun and not a reflexive pronoun.
He put the backpack next to him.
They like to have many books beside them when they were in class.
Rule # 3
Use reflexive pronoun as the object of a preposition typically if the preposition is a closely linked preposition after a verb, noun, adjectives.
Malena is angry with herself for dating Mike Wazowski
They glanced at themselves in the mirror found in that dark room
She made a cake by herself
I made this dress myself
